today when I booted my PC, The message center said that f-secure was not started. Upon looking at F-secure, it has the message, "Malfunction - Please Restart your computer" Restarting the computer does not fix the problem.

looking at the logs, there is a ton of errors similar to this:

1 2009-11-05 07:47:57-04:00 win7test SYSTEM F-Secure Management Agent 1.3.6.1.4.1.2213.11.1.15
The imported base policy file does not contain all the settings for all currently installed products. This may indicate that the F-Secure Policy Manager Console is not up to date.
2 2009-11-05 07:48:01-04:00 win7test SYSTEM F-Secure Management Agent 1.3.6.1.4.1.2213.11.1.15
F-Secure Management Agent failed in an internal operation. Setting the policy variable 1.3.6.1.4.1.2213.12.2.140 (error=-505) was not successful. If the problem persists, please contact the system administrator.

Which are caused by the Policy Manager Console not being the beta 9 version. no other issues are present in the logs.
