Today, I installed FSCS 9.0 on a windows 7 64bit system. So far it's been working well but I noticed a problem with IE8.

If the F-secure toolbar in enabled in IE8, it takes forever to start. roughly 20-30 seconds. During this time, it appears that IE8 has hung. This doesn't seem to affect firefox, since it starts in roughly the same amount of time as it did without the toolbar.

The only remedy so far that I've found is the disable the toolbar in IE by clicking on the X to the left of the toolbar. Once disabled, IE responds as it should, starting in less than 3 seconds.

Is this the incompatibility described in the release notes if IE is not run as administrator and protected mode is on, or is this something else?

Thanks for the report. We've identified one issue which could result in a similar behavior like the one you described, and it will be fixed in the upcoming Release Candidate.

Please re-check with the RC once released.
